Sweet potatoes are rich in texture and taste, as well as being much healthier than regular potatoes. The natural sweetness of a sweet potato works amazingly as a contrast to the subtle heat provided by our spice blend. Its natural sugars caramelise during the cooking process to give off a wonderfully lightly charred flavour.
Zingy lemon juice cuts through and gives a freshness to the pakora whilst earthy cumin pairs perfectly with the creamy sweetness of sweet potatoes. A gentle background heat from the chillies and paprika adds an underlying warmth to the dish, without overpowering the tastebuds.
