The raw beetroot has a sweet earthy flavour that goes perfectly with the citrusy tang of lemon juice. The earthiness of the beetroot flavour is enhanced by the leafy kale that gives a strong flavour as well as adding an element of crunch to the burger. Just a hint of mint brings a cooling sweetness that cuts through the overall earthiness of the product.
